Wilder Weather: Preorder Now!

After over a decade and a half of research and 7 years of writing and editing, Wilder Weather is finally available for preorder!

(The book will also be available through your usual book sellers, such as requesting it through your favorite independent bookstore or ordering through your favorite online book seller.) The book’s official release date is July 8, but preordering means that it will get to you as quickly as possible! It also helps the publisher get a handle on demand for the book, so if you know it’s on your to-buy list, earlier is better!

A special note to LauraPalooza 2025 attendees:

The book releases on the exact date that we all will gather in Sioux Falls. What great timing! If you leave a note in your preorder directly from the SDHS Press that you are attending LauraPalooza, their amazing staff will bring your book directly to LauraPalooza rather than mailing it, so that you have it on site and can get it signed there. You will have to pay the shipping initially, but it will be refunded to you when you pick up your book. If you sign up to pick up at LauraPalooza but for some reason cannot attend, they will mail the book to you after the conference. You must order from the SDHS Press for the hand-delivery. If you won’t be attending LauraPalooza but still want your book signed, hang tight! I will be making other stops in the months ahead, and I can also send a signed bookplate for long-distance signings. More details to come!
